Joseph grew up learning about respect for those who are disabled and how to care deeply for them, as his mother did for his oldest brother, Andrew. It shaped his heart with a deeper compassion for those who are unable to care for themselves. He understands that it is not easy, even for a family member, to take on all the tasks needed to care for someone with disabilities. He knows receiving help from someone else could alleviate the family member's stress and enhance the cared-for person's well-being.

Joseph is a proud veteran who honorably served our country in the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably medically separated from the Marine Corps due to the injuries he sustained during service. This status has deepened his respect for all those who have worn the uniform, especially those who have faced their own challenges or disabilities as a result. His journey is one of honor, courage, commitment, and now gratitude, and it shines a light on his unwavering support for fellow service members.

Since transitioning to civilian life, Joseph has dedicated himself to personal growth and actively engaging with his community. He has accumulated a wealth of experience in a range of fields, including healthcare, sales, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, and bathroom remodeling. During in-home healthcare, he helped multiple seniors live their best possible lives in their later years. He realized that many were left to fend for themselves, with no family members or anyone else around to take care of them. He understands that many seniors want to stay in their homes and preserve their dignity. He enjoyed serving these clients because he could show them that someone still cares. His skills as a handyman began early in life, learning the trade from his dad during their many home remodeling projects. Through his casual experiences and professional work, he can now manage a home's inner workings from top to bottom.

Amanda grew up close to her grandparents (Nana and Pampa). She reminisces about her teenage years living with her grandfather, and their deep conversations over midnight ice cream sundaes.  This is the type of companionship that she knows is irreplaceable. Whether dancing while cleaning with her Nana or having tubs of ice cream with her Pampa, she wants to share enlightened conversations once again with those who would appreciate the same. 

 

Amanda is the heart of her home, joyfully homeschooling their children while also thriving as a key member of The Grateful Servants LLC. She brings a diverse set of experiences that resonate with the company’s mission of service and support. She is deeply passionate about helping others, viewing it as a true blessing to be there for those in need. Having faced her own health challenges, she authentically understands the struggles people with disabilities or ailments may experience. With a steadfast belief in her own healing journey, she is committed to extending compassionate support to those who require it.
